Ashley B. Cash

Having grown up with learning disabilities, Ashley knows firsthand the life-changing power of early intervention. Her top priority is to ensure that every student, regardless of their zip code, graduates not only with academic knowledge but also with the practical tools necessary to succeed in life and work. Ashley co-founded Texas TransformED with the belief that the focus must remain on student outcomes by improving and expanding the curriculum to offer tracks tailored to student’s aptitudes and interests, empowering our teachers, implementing subject-specific mastery testing, and encouraging children to read 1 million words a year.

Ashley is a proud West Texan, a mother of four, and a lifelong advocate for bold, measurable improvements in public education. She also serves as President and Manager of CCC Capital Solutions, overseeing a diverse portfolio spanning real estate, oil and gas, and private investments. She also manages their family’s ranching and investment operations with her husband, Clay, through the Cash Family Office.

Through the Cash Family Foundation, Ashley supports nonprofits across Texas with a strong focus on education, child well-being, and empowering underserved communities. She pushes for change with unwavering resolve, working to ensure a brighter and more equitable future for all children in Texas.

A champion for women’s advancement, Ashley is currently serving her second term on the Texas Governor’s Commission for Women. In this role, she encourages the growth of women-owned businesses and supports the Heart Galleries of Texas, a partnership aimed at increasing foster care adoptions. She also serves on the boards of the Texas Tech Foundation, the National Ranching Heritage Association, the Lubbock Entertainment and Performing Arts Association (LEPAA), and the Advisory Board of the Gordon W. Davis College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources at Texas Tech University.

Whether advocating in Austin, collaborating with local educators, or supporting families in her community, Ashley brings passion, lived experience, and a deep commitment to rural Texas to everything she does.
